mason is really starting to show his personality. i make a lot of comparisons to madelyn, but it really helps me notice what makes mason special sooner. mason seems to be much more physical and mechanical than madelyn was. he is really interested in things that hang down or that he can reach and pull on. saturday he was pulling himself up to sit upright in his swing. i missed it in the photo but he was sitting up totally straight several times. he has never been a fan of the reclined position. he is happy with flat/laying down and sitting upright.
and he really loves something he can lay under and reach for; particularly something that is not fixed. it seems like he is doing this a lot earlier than madelyn did. she would reach for things, but more for the sake of curiosity about what they were than trying to figure it out like mason does.he is still the happiest boy. madelyn was happy, but mason is super happy. love.

I wonder if its 2nd kids? He seems so similar to Kinley. Maybe its because they don't know what its like to be the only one.
