madelyn is really excited for christmas this year! it has been amazing how much she remembers from last year too. she knew that we had a tall tree and put a start on top. and she remembered loving her "baby jesus" from the nativity set. i am looking forward to making new memories this year.she helped daddy start hanging ornaments while i went up to work in the church toddler room on sunday morning (we set up the tree before church on saturday night). as you can see in the picture, madelyn likes for all the ornaments to hang in a row on the bottom branches.
in addition to the small nativity set that madelyn loved last year, we now have a 'little people' nativity set for more appropriate playing. the other set isn't glass or ceramic, but it isn't really for playing either. i think that she still prefers it to the little people set though. you can see that she goes right back to it in the video. i am just glad that she loves jesus and is looking forward to celebrating his birthday at the end of the month! love.
