madelyn is starting to see the first signs that mason might want to play with her. friday i put mason on the floor with madelyn while she played in my office and he just stared and stared at her. she got him some of his own toys and told him about the toys she was playing with. he really liked the stacking rings and was happy when we moved them lower so that he could see them without having to lift his head so high.here are some extra pictures of them playing friday. mason absolutely soaked that stuffed horse (i can't tell if it is a horse or a giraffe) by chewing and drooling on it. madelyn was doing a happy dance because we were ready to head upstairs and get ready for trunk-or-treat.
then saturday morning i got out a fun play mat for mason that has a water feature. madelyn has been dying to try the 'pond' but mason hasn't been ready for it. you can tell how excited she is by watching the video. and don't worry, mason was not injured. love.

i (again) can't believe how much he's changed since the last posts. His head is up so high. He'll be on the move soon! Madelyn looks about as 'gentle' as Lorelai is with Kinley.
Madelyn obviously can't wait to have Mason to play with. She is such a good teacher!!! Very sweet.
