once again she was the only kid besides the coach's son to score (well one girl scored for the other team). he doesn't score all of the goals because he is the coach's son, he is just the fastest kid on the field most of the time - he scored three goals. mason was bigger than most of the kids on the team madelyn was playing against (maddux was even bigger than a few).
madelyn asked to sit out for a little bit since she had already scored a goal |
maddux learned that pouting is a great way to meet older girls. |
here is a little video of the action. we are happy for madelyn when she scores a goal, but we are most proud of how she stays after the ball for the entire time she is playing. we were actually discussing how much better she does with being in the pack than we thought she would. she is usually distressed by disorder and shoving.
just one more week before the season ends. i think madelyn will want to play again next summer, but we will just have to wait and see. mason seems to be really excited about when it is time for him to have a turn - although i think he will have two more years before he can play. love.

Proud of Madelyn for her goals and hanging in there. If Mason plays, can't wait to see that! We'll have to make a trip next year to see a game. So glad there will be no more hectic "end of the school year" for me. LOVE the picture of Maddux sitting with the little girl. Looks like he was really listening to her :) Nana
That is so cute that Maddie asked what her reaction was to her goal! She is so proud of herself and I'm sure will be a great team player always! Love the pictures!
I think its great that she's gone from one extreme to the other with her ability and interest in soccer. Yay Mads!
