we like hanging out with our neighbors and now that school is out their oldest daughter can join us too - which gets madelyn excited. they had invited us over to play but then her husband (who is a doctor) pointed out that it probably wasn't a great idea since they had just gotten over strep. oh yeah. we should have thought about that...
their mom felt so bad about disappointing us that she offered to pick up lunch and meet us at the park. it was a gorgeous day and we were in.
maddux and his, "cheese".
madelyn is quite the little monkey (with mason trying everything she does) and her eyes were so blue but i don't think the camera quite captured the lighting.
i mainly got pictures of maddux because i stick with him for safety. he loves swinging on the big swings. we were using five of the swings at one point. my friend took care of pushing the other four kids. she could not believe how heavy mason was and said he was much heavier than he looks. and he is. it is like he is filled with lead.
luke (4) was leaning on a tree and maddux went to lean with him.
and here is everyone but mason. mason was ready to go home and didn't want to stop going down the trail.
looking forward to more summer fun! love.

Looks like between the two families, you could fill one for each (age) year. So great you have another young family nearby.
