princess camp - day 3

before princess camp, we went to wendy's to get our two birthday kids' meals (i must not have signed manning up yet). unfortunately, the birthday meals aren't "kids' meals" with a toy. so i got four kids meals, with super hero toys, and i had some of the two birthday meals. the birthday meal is a hamburger/cheeseburger, small fry and junior frosty. the kids shared the two frosties as a birthday treat.

we have taught the kids that if they didn't get the toy they would like, that they can go ask about an exchange. we have stressed that the likelihood of a change is very, very small, but getting four of the same thing is sort of a drag. the lady today could not have been nicer! not only did she let them trade, but she let them pick the exact toy they wanted. very, very happy kids!

without planning it, all four kids wore orange today! (well, madelyn wore "coral" but we counted it as a shade of orange.)

manning was being a roly-poly on the basketball for a long while today.

today they made jellyfish to go with the ariel theme. madelyn said it was perfect that she wore a "coral" dress for ariel day. she wrote an "i love you" to manning on her jellyfish in honor of his birthday.

here are the boys with their super hero toys - a superman glider and wonder woman's invisible jet.

and now we were off to meet daddy at our next birthday stop! love.
