spooky science night

we were double-booked tonight. i was leading bible study at church and the school system was putting on a "spooky science night" at the high school. the elementary schools both cancelled their trunk or treat events and encouraged the kids to attend the high school's event instead.

so we got the kids ready and then went off to our separate destinations. they were pretty excited to wear their new costumes.

well, maybe manning wasn't super excited...

it sounds like the event was pretty cool. the high school science students dressed up and had science experiments for the kids to try - goo, glow in the dark slime, etc. i was bummed to miss out (even more bummed when i heard that daddy didn't take any pictures)!  but i am glad that they had a great time. love.
