last day of soccer for the season

mason might not have been officially cleared to play soccer yet (after his broken arm), but we figured that soccer wasn't any more dangerous than living at home with three siblings so we let him play in the last game of the season.

it wasn't warm, but it was sunny! manning borrowed my gloves to keep his hands warm and thought that they were pretty funny.

one of matt's most importance coaching responsibilities - making sure they know which goal they should kick the ball towards.

a very happy boy.

the whole team.

and one more of the cutie.
i was watching but somehow i missed (i am sitting with at least two other of our children) mason scored three goals in a row! i did see the last one but i couldn't believe that i missed such a triumphant return to the field and end of the season! mason was a very happy boy. he and maddux were both a little sad for the season to end. they will get to play on the same team for one more season - in the spring. love.
