knife skills

madelyn is getting really good with using a knife. i wish i had video of the night before this dinner prep when she was using her knife and fork to cut and eat her dinner - she looked so lady-like and well mannered. i didn't get video because it was just me and the kids because matt was at a work event.

cooking is something madelyn is pretty interested in; mainly because it leads to eating. we were making pretend cookies in her play kitchen and madelyn named out the ingredients all on her own - milk, 3 eggs, sugar, butter. i was pretty impressed that she remembered so many.
