sitting up

mason still isn't crawling, but he did get himself into a seated position from laying on his belly this morning. i didn't see him actually do it. he was laying on his belly when i walked by and then when i looked at him from my breakfast he was sitting up. pretty neat trick.

later in the day i got to see him do it twice. he does it sort of accidentally when trying to get his second knee move towards crawling. he moves one knee forward in good crawling form but then he sort of twists himself around before trying to move the second knee and ends up kind of on his side before pushing up to sitting.

i had a feeling that he would get this one figured out before crawling. he definitely seemed proud of himself by the third time.
