we made a few stops on our way home from soccer and everyone was in much better spirits after a nice lunch on the back deck. daddy let the kids help him outside with always seems to involve popsicles...
the day started out foggy and cold but it warmed up into a beautiful afternoon! i had the job of supervisor and chief garden label maker. the kids had fun digging anywhere daddy would let them.

after a couple of hours, i needed to go in and start dinner. so that meant it was time to hose everybody down. the kids are getting good at spraying the water themselves, so i was able to snap a few pictures. they were all covered in popsicle and dirt but nothing that the hose couldn't handle. when everyone was suitably soaked and rinsed, we headed in. so much fun. love.

So nice to see the kids having fun outside. They love to help daddy with the garden. Too cute!
