we have success!! after i posted about mason's pride in wearing underwear he went poop in the potty (i say "potty" but he is using a regular toilet with no 'potty seat')! and then he insisted on wearing underwear to bed. we have totally let him take the lead since it isn't a matter of ability but willingness at this point.
he doesn't even ask for any help in the bathroom or even tell me that he is going to go - he just goes.
he has had no accidents in two days and has spent two nights in underwear. we are so very proud of him! love.

Yay! That's fantastic for everyone... one less diaper to change is a big plus!
That is great news and I can just see how proud Mason is, especially since it was his idea. Just in time for the baby!!!
