this is one of those things that happens so regularly that i forget to post about it. maddux is in love with matt. all the kids love him and mason talks about him being a work almost every day, but maddux is the most excited when he gets home from work. the funny thing he does now is when matt sits down at the table with us for dinner, maddux picks up his plate and moves to sit right next to matt. he not only has to sit next to matt, but he hugs matt's arm almost between every bite just grinning his big, all-teeth grin. and if matt leaves the table before we are finished with dinner (which he regularly does because he can't sit still...), maddux has to go and find him.
i haven't totally been replaced, but it is nice to have the love shared a little bit more. love.

Maddux is just so full of love and excitement. It will be a bog help to you that he wants to be with his Daddy.
