at some point while in kansas we got ticks. the finally tally is matt with 5, mason with 4, maddux and madelyn with 1. thankfully, manning and i did not get any! so now we watch and wait to see if anyone gets rashes...
my theory is that they came from matt and the older kids playing on the golf course after dinner one night and the other theory is that they came from the farm. my doubt for them coming from the farm is because matt didn't go and nana and i didn't have ticks. so we don't know for certain where they came from.
matt found two of his after we got home and found another one on the bathroom floor (where he had taken his clothes off to shower after driving all night)! so i am washing every single thing that went to kansas that i can fit into the washing machine. it is going to take me days (and days). and anything that won't fit has to stay in the garage for a few days before coming inside.
oh well. we still had fun and it is always something. love.

Ticks give me eebie jeebies. I was so concerned with them when we went to NC, but no one seemed to get any.
i am with you on the eerie jeebies! and these were so tiny that they were difficult to find.
