madelyn rarely wants me to fix her hair. so when she asked for a ponytail yesterday i was happy to help. we were in her bathroom while i did her hair and she looked at me in the mirror and said (quite happily), "i look just like you, mom." and she meant it as a complement too.
while this might always be true, she might not always admit it (or like it), so i wanted to document it here. love.
