turkey disguise

as we were eating breakfast and spending our last little bit of time with grandma before taking madelyn and mason to school, i was starting to clean things up that i had neglected all weekend like the papers madelyn brought home on friday and the turkey that was due on wednesday the 14th. nope. not the 14th like i thought i had read on friday, the 12th, as in today!!

so much for pancakes. quick! grab all of the craft supplies in the house and get madelyn started on writing the turkey's cover story while i worked on cutting out the turkey. the funny part is that matt and i had discussed this project on our anniversary walk and i was telling him about how i was going to control myself and make madelyn do it all on her own - even if i wanted to make any part of it "look better". oh well. so much for ideals, we needed to get this sucker done.

i think we did a pretty good job for 20 or 30 minutes. love.
