school dinner @ five guys

tonight madelyn's school received 25% of the sales from 5-8 at five guys.  wanting to help out, we took our crew in for dinner.  daddy was running late so we were a little later than planned.  the place was packed and more expensive than we had remembered (we hadn't been to a five guys in a very long time).

it was cute.  they had all of the kids wear a "take me to five guys" sticker home with the details.  it must have worked because the place was packed!  we found two tables and two chairs to fit our family and this was a major score.  maddux got his own chair, madelyn and mason shared and matt and i sat on the window sill. i think next time we will just get the food to go (a la drive through) or write a check to cover what 25% would have been. 

the kids had fun and it was for a good cause.  madelyn enjoyed seeing several of her friends and "specials" teachers (art, music, etc.).  plus, i didn't have to cook or clean up.  sounds like a good night to me!  love.
