i don't think that madelyn could have planned a more perfect school day. she saw lots of friends she knew throughout the day, she did math (which is what she was hoping for) and her 'special' was art (her other favorite subject).
we met her at the bus after school and she was all smiles. i think her excitement about the day has been building as she has retold her stories to me, grandma, nana and daddy over the course of the evening. she keeps saying that her teacher is a really nice lady and madelyn thinks that she is really going to like her.
we are off to a great start! love.
