our hotel downtown wasn't the best for parking and was very much a 'business' hotel (aka ours were the only kids). but we were able to walk to dinner and the kids loved the view from our room (on the 17th floor). everyone got kind of silly at dinner and we decided that "the boys" (daddy, mason and maddux) would walk to a clippers game (aa baseball for the indians) after dinner for a "boys night out". everyone was really excited about it and even manning sounded like he was saying, "yay, boy out" but i couldn't get it on video. he was hamming it up though!
madelyn, manning and i went back to the hotel for baths and bed while the boys were at the game. manning was still revved up and he didn't go to sleep until everyone was back. the big boys had a great time at the game (although maddux told me he cried and matt explained that he actually screamed that he wanted his mommy and fought matt like he was being kidnapped). just something else to add to our special family weekend. love.
