the real reason we had to get home last night is that i had an early meeting at church and would be covering both services. so i left before the kids were even awake this morning. but as i was getting on the interstate i saw that the balloons were up. so a quick call to matt and he got the kids outside to see our favorite balloon from last night go right over our house! he sent me these pictures during my meeting and i was pretty jealous. i guess several landed right around our neighborhood.
but poor manning woke up with a mosquito bite that had taken over his eye to the point he couldn't get it open. by the time he got to church it was a little better. i thought he had a new bite last night when i was putting him to bed. maybe he will grow out of it like madelyn did.
after church i saw this picture posted by a neighbor. the pig balloon landed right in our neighborhood! so much fun to be had in summer. love.

SO cool! My kids would love that. Poor Manning - he's too sweet- attracts all the skeeters.
