madelyn was complaining about her mouth and ears hurting. my guess? molars. and, yep, she has two new molars coming in on top. she was asking us if they were "grown-up teeth" and we were trying to explain that they were big kid teeth that would fall out later sort of like baby teeth. so she tells people that she has some brand new baby teeth coming in the back. sometimes she will call them molars but most of the time they are her "new baby teeth". these are the last ones before wisdom teeth, right? maybe i will look that up. probably not since it doesn't really matter and i have a few other things to occupy my time. maybe i will just wait and ask the dentist at the next appointment. love.

I think these may be some of her first permanent teeth. Definitely ask the dentist, but I think some of the first permanent teeth to come in are the molars.
Yep, "6 year" molars are the first teeth she'll have for the rest of her life, so time to start paying extra attention to brushing way back there!
