for the past three years, we have been saving all the christmas cards (and a few thank you notes) and keeping them in a basket after christmas. each night the kids take turns selecting one and we pray for the people who sent it. we take a few minutes to discuss who the card is from and then pray for them. last year we had been through the basket at least four times by february. for some reason we received a lot more cards this year and should be set for quite a while. mason likes it so much that he picks someone to pray for at lunch and sometimes at breakfast.
so if you sent us a card, we are praying for you. love.

Love this idea! I was just about to take down our cards and chuck them. We may do this, too :)
