as soon as i saw that home depot was building bird houses this weekend, i knew that it was for us! i thought it was maddux' first time and grabbed two orange aprons. only it wasn't his first time. and i left mason's apron at home. once we got past that, it was a great time!
all of the kids insisted on painting their bird houses there instead of taking them home. we tried to talk them into taking them home so that we wouldn't have to worry about wet paint in the car.
maddux did such a great job and he was quite proud of himself. love.
