super manning

manning is pretty "super" too these days. his super man outfit even has a removable cape! all four kids enjoyed me 'flying' him around the house after them.

and maddux picked out the spider-man shirt for manning for christmas. maddux was pretty excited to see him wearing it.

super heroes are great, but it is so difficult to find age appropriate super hero content! luckily, mason doesn't like anything too 'scary' (based on the illustrations on the covers at the library). right now he more likes the idea of super heroes. we also found a series where the super heroes are firemen, policemen, etc. so we talk about how they are super heroes too and that spider-man, etc. just help them.

mason has recently decided that he wants to be a policeman when he grows up because he wants to help people and put the bad guys in jail. we told him he can be whatever he would like. and we can't wait to see. love.
