above is a picture of the 'calendar' of important dates sent home from the school that i use to write on our family calendars. they do not show spring break lasting until april 2! that is why i tried to take her to school on the first! i feel SO much better. love.

If they are like my old school, they don't count it as spring break. It is a teacher professional (inservice) day. I admit that is confusing for parents! :)
but it wasn't an inservice day either because there was no one at the school. it was spring break still. i am assuming that it was just an error in the newsletter but it made me feel better that i had it written down 'right'.
