the little boys were so excited because they got to have the first open house of the school year! we have three, out of four kids, starting at new schools so this is our first of three open houses.
manning was very excited, until we got there. he wanted nothing to do with his classroom, let alone his teacher. we did finally get him into the room and checking out some of the toys and books.
since it wasn't going very well in manning's room, we went over to maddux' for a little while. maddux took at tour through the classroom and manning found a sandbox in the room. he wanted to know if his room had a sandbox too.
so back we went to manning's room where he actually spoke with his teacher. no sandbox, but he is a little more comfortable now. we will just have to wait and see how the first day goes. love.

Oh, my goodness, I can't even imagine the feeling: last kiddo going off to preschool! How many days is Manning going? I'm hoping to make the most of B&Ws last year home with me - before they go like 2 or 3 days/week.
