tuesday surprises

in the morning we watched on new neighbor get settled in.  it was amazing to watch the nest get built!  it was done in just a few hours.  we can't wait for there to be robin eggs.

maddux was crying while i was making lunch for the kids.  i realized that he had suddenly gotten very quiet.  well, mason had gone to get bunny bear for maddux to snuggle and it calmed him right down!  mason was pleased that he could help. (the photo is a reenactment because mason had already gotten bunny bear back from maddux because maddux had started chewing on him and mason wasn't comfortable with that.)

you might remember that we went to a family expo at the mall a while ago.  first we got a letter saying that madelyn had won a zoo pass and then we got a letter saying that mason had won "a prize".  after a few phone calls, matt stopped to pick up the mystery prize on his way home from work.  it was a turtle pillow pet like the ladybug one madelyn got for Christmas!  it was the perfect prize because she already had one and didn't feel left out.
