madelyn has never been all that interested in drawing on her own, but over the past few weeks she has been drawing up a storm in the car. here are two samples of her work. she also really enjoys drawing arrows to show which direction we are driving. love.

Very impressive. Great idea ot have a magna doodle in the car. Is that one of the items in that green bin in between their seats? What else is in there?
Yes, it is. They have all sorts of random things in there from small books to toy phones to happy meal toys. For the most part they are designated as car toys and do not come into the house although every now and then one makes its way in.
They actually take turns with the magna doodle and a similar style leap frog toy (I think you guys have it where you draw the letters and there is a keyboard).
