i have put in close to 30 hours of work this week and have been feeling pretty guilty about it. the kids have been great but i still feel bad that i have been parked by the computer or on the phone a lot more than normal. i just hate having to say that i can't read books or play (because they aren't going to ask me forever).
anyway, today matt is picking up pizza for dinner (it was his idea after taking one look at my yesterday - and i looked bad - so bad that he picked up muffins for breakfast on saturday too. if you know matt, springing for two meals is a very big gesture). since i had more time after madelyn got home than usual, i thought we should do a craft. the kids love crafts and so do i.
we made toilet paper roll owls. i saw them in disney's family fun magazine and knew it was something we could handle. we just used what we had around to make them and the kids thought they were great. it was cute to see them fly them around while hooting when we were finished.
