sunday we went to the later church service so we had a leisurely breakfast (well, as leisurely as making pancakes for a flock of vultures can be...) and relaxed a little beforehand. after church we had lunch and read some books before i went off to meet a friend for coffee. nana took these pictures on the couch of me and the kids. the second one might be my favorite picture of me and the kids - ever.
and then i took a few of nana reading to them all a little later.
while i was out with my friend, daddy, nana and the kids played outside - and got very wet.
when i got home we got everyone into some dry clothes and headed out for a restaurant dinner. the kids chose red robin. when i started looking at the menu i wasn't sure that anything was going to be able to be a satifying vegan meal (i was actually considering the humus appetizer as my meal) but then i saw that they offer boca vegan burgers at no extra cost! sweet! so i ordered what i wanted and dropped the cheese. i did not notice even a little. so excited! this might be a little easier than i thought. love.
