princess and super hero camps - day four

and it is already day four!  the kids have been loving their camps.  mason has been riding with one of his friends to super hero camp so that we don't have to sit and wait for two hours.  but his friend's mom called this morning to say that they had overslept and wouldn't be able to pick him up.  it wasn't a huge deal since we were already dressed and fed, but i did have to hustle to get enough snacks, waters and toys to last the two hours.  madelyn hadn't decided on a dress for the day so she just went with the one from yesterday because it was still in her room and it was time to go.  mason's superman shirt was dirty so he wore mason's which was a little small - hence the belly.

i brought raisins and pretzels as our snack but realized raisins weren't going to work out so great.  but then i realized that the bed of our dump truck toy would be a perfect plate!

mason's teacher invited parents to come in the back today to watch and take pictures but the lighting was too bad for a decent picture.  they were doing robot walks for today's theme - transformers.
mason and his friend, benji, modeling their transformer masks and arm bands.
then all the princesses line up to go into their camp.  it is a much larger group than the super heroes.

madelyn and her new friend ella.  i do a bible study and mops with ella's mom but the girls haven't really spent a lot of time together yet.
one more day.  these camps have been a great start to our summer.  love.

At first, when I saw Madelyn's picture, I thought the red cape was her legs and she was doing a mega-split! Ha!
