madelyn and i raced home from the ballet so that we could get the boys and head to "boo at the zoo"! (we also raced home because i needed to feed manning - i wasn't expecting to be gone quite so long - he was in better shape than i was though.) the kids have been very excited about wearing their costumes. once everyone was dressed, we loaded up spider-man, doc mcstuffins, jake (of the neverland pirates) and a "peek-a-pooh" dressed manning and headed to the zoo.
we went to "boo at the zoo" last year and had a good time. we were a little worried because the forecast was calling for rain - and it had been raining off and on all day - but we had a lovely evening. the boys had fallen asleep on the ride over. it left mason ready to go and maddux ready to go to bed. maddux barely left the stroller and did not understand the whole "trick-or-treat" thing until the very last stop (of about 9).

we are expecting to get a lot of use from the costumes this week but we will see how energized mommy is to make it happen. we might skip a few events... even missing some, this should be a fairly busy week for us. love.

Love all the costumes and madelyn's pose. Too funny! Manning is just plain cute!! Did Maddie take the picture of you and Matt? So much fun and love all the pictures.
