oh yeah - i also made this prototype tutu in the throws of everything last week. madelyn's dance class has an informal recital on the last day and the parents were asked to come up with costumes. the girls want to be mermaids so the moms and i came up with simple costumes and i volunteered to help with a tutu. madelyn (and the other moms) were quite happy with the final result. love.
