because everyone was up late last night, we were all up early this morning (kids are just backwards like that). it would have meant a relaxed morning before church (and being on time without rushing for once - matt doesn't share my ideas about being on time to things), but matt woke up with pink eye - a random case for just him - and maddux and manning have thick, green boogers (i think from their time at the ymca childcare this week) so they were staying home. mason wanted to stay home with daddy too so it was just madelyn and i braving the cold for church this morning.
we took these super cute pictures of the kids pretending to be daddy (mason was jumping up and down saying "i'm daddy, i'm daddy, i'm daddy" while i took this picture) before it occurred to me that daddy has pink eye and the kids probably shouldn't be playing with his glasses...
hooray for a fun sunday morning at home before church! love.
