antibiotics

we have four kids on antibiotics as of today. madelyn is finishing up hers from the ear infection she had last week, we confirmed manning has another ear infection this morning at his 'well' check (in fact he has a double ear infection) and i took mason up to cvs to see if he had an ear infection this afternoon when hecomplained about his ear hurting - yes, he does have one. while we were up at cvs i went ahead and had maddux looked at because i had considered trying to schedule him during manning's check-up this morning and didn't want to have to make another trip. and he had a sinus infection worthy of his own antibiotic.

at least everyone might have a period of health all at the same time. love.

Is this CVS clinic thing nationwide? Is it free? Seems very helpful.

i love the minute clinic at cvs. it is not free (they take insurance), but it is nationwide. we mainly use it for things we feel pretty sure about - pink eye, ear infections - because it is way easier than getting an appointment at the pediatrician's office and is closer. they are also open later and on weekends. it has been a real help to us on more than on occasion. i would recommend giving one near you a try. (they also send the appointment information to your regular doctor for you.)

The two cvs stores next to us do not have them but I saw one a little farther away when we were out Friday. I've never been to one but sounds great for your use - those common children illnesses. I saw they fill out sports forms too. Nana
