are you tired of my illness posts yet? because i sure am! this has been the year of the stomach bug for us. it must just come from different germs in a new place because we are never, ever this sick and it has been the same bug over and over. this time makes five.
maddux woke up with it on wednesday morning. he has made it to the toilet each time to vomit and even with horrible diareah, he has had no accidents or set-backs in his potty training.
manning vomited all over matt on sunday night and all over me early this morning but seems to be better now. matt had a short time of 'discomfort' and mason seems to be the only one to skate by this time. maybe because he has taken the most naps and rested when he needed to?
at least it seems that we are all getting more immune to it because this go round was not nearly as bad and it has been getting progressively less each go round.
we are just going to lay low until the kids have to return to school. praying that this is the end of it! love.

yuck!! How is it possible to have the stomach flu 5 times in one year?! I hope that's something we never accomplish. :)
I think germs and many small kids just go together. We haven't had the stomach flu but we had 3 'bouts of hand, foot, and mouth.... Carson first, followed a month later with carson, lainey, erik, and victor, followed a month later with just Lainey again.

i didn't think you could get h/f/m more than once! yes, this is a personal best for a stomach bug. i do not recommend it. on the upside, we always know what to expect when we get it. :)
Most people don't get it more than once. Lucky us! Oh well. Now I know all three have had it for sure, so hopefully it will not grace them again.
