budding artist

mason's teacher pulled me aside on tuesday to show me mason's drawing.  she asked if he draws a lot at home and i said that, yes, he does draw quite a bit.  she told me that the kids were asked to pick a christmas card illustration to draw and this was mason's.

she told me that it was really good for a three year old (or anyone she joked).  i didn't really think too much of it.  i thought he did a good job but i didn't really think that it was that much better than normal for him. 

yesterday afternoon they were hanging outside the classroom and i was able to see some of the other kids' work.  yes, mason's was one of the better ones.

one of the other moms was just raving in disbelief over how great he did and how you could actually tell what he was drawing.  so today i took pictures to share with matt - and you.  love.
