visit to the dinosaur

last time nana had come for a visit we went to the museum and they were advertise a new exhibit for miniature houses and nana said that she would love to see it, so today we took her over to get a look.  and what better place for the boys to wear their new dinosaur tails than the museum? 

we had not been at christmas time before and enjoyed all of the decorations.  in the front lobby there is a pendulum that normally knocks down little lincoln log like cylinders; for christmas they swapped them out with little nutcrackers!  it really was cute.

one of the volunteers said that we should use the photo opportunity set up in a side room from the holiday event the night before.  so here is a picture of mason and madelyn because they were the only ones willing to pose.

now on to the dinosaur!  i have a really difficult time getting a clear picture without a flash and you can't use a flash in the museum.  oh well.  you can get the general idea.

i just thought they were cute with their tails hanging down while looking at the bugs, etc.

it was nice out so we spent some time on the monument.  matt and the kids climbed up and slid down the sides.

madelyn is coming down behind matt on the next level up.

i think nana enjoyed the exhibit and we sure had fun taking her.  love.
