mason is such a busy, sweet boy. and his sister just gave him his first black eye.
- i guess madelyn was laying with him holding hands and watching t.v. with grandma when she walloped him in the face! grandma said there wasn't a fight or anything - just pop in the eye.
- mason's run is hysterical, but i never think to take a movie. the best way to describe it is exactly like sid the science kid. or like a muppet in a bounce house. he leans way to one side for a variety of occasions - before he takes of running, when he is pretending to reach for something, before he attacks (with a smile), and more.
- he lays on his belly to read books, color, play, etc. i just love it. he looks so cute and madelyn rarely lays like that so it is still novel for me. i have to hold back laughter when he crosses he ankles or swings his feet - it's just too cute. you will just have to take my word for it.
- he is getting really good at kicking a ball. and he takes it very seriously. he gets the ball set just so and then backs up to kick it. he even kicks gently because there isn't much room for kicking in the apartment.
- mason waves good-bye instead of saying (except for the earlier video). even at bed time, he waves "bye" for goodnight. but it is super cute because he walks backwards and waves even after he can't see you any more. this often leads to him walking into walls, but he still doesn't stop waving (or smiling).
we love him. love.

What a sweet boy. I've said it from the beginning, but Mason is the only boy who makes me kind of want to have a boy. :)
He's a sweetie alright! I'm glad I got to witness all of the things you mentioned.
